2nd Stop of Our Blog Tour is…

Yesterday we kicked off our blog tour with award winning Canadian author, Terry Fallis…and today we stop at an aspiring author, Vanessa Grillone! She’s the passionate writer behind ‘My Pen My Voice’.

We asked Vanessa a few questions about her blogging, her reading and her passion for writing:

I’ve been blogging since October 2010. It started out as a personal blog and as kind of a continuation of my book My Pen, My Voice but it has become so much more than that. It’s like my dairy but I’ve been trying to expand my content as well as keeping it as personal as possible. It has lead to me become a contributor to Not A Model Blog and also being involved with this blog tour. I really enjoy blogging and “meeting” new people because of it. I do find blogging difficult sometimes,  I’m afraid I’m not being interesting or different enough to shine in the blogosphere! However, I don’t want to change my writing style because then it will become like everyone else’s. I have about five or six of my favourite blogs that I read every day and a few more that I read sparingly. There are so many great blogs out there that it’s easy to get hooked! 

Right now I’m reading The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman and I am mesmerized  by his words. I don’t like reading more thanone book at a time, I feel like I’m cheating on the characters  

This is Vanessa’s first blog tour (ours too!) and her enthusiasm for both the tour and STELLAA’s goals has been amazing. She is a bright and talented writer who has created a smart and honest blog examining the joys (and challenges) of writing.
