Earlier this month, Harvard women’s lacrosse’s sophomore defender Grace Taylor earned her second All-Ivy Honorable Mention accolade as a key member of the defense that led the Crimson to the Ivy League women’s lacrosse tournament. Impressive, yes, but even more impressive is how Taylor was using her stick as a cane less than six months earlier.

Harvard Women's Lacrosse Defeats Cornell in OT, Rolls into Final Three Games of Regular Season

With six wins in their last seven games, the Harvard women’s lacrosse team is hitting its stride. The Crimson picked up its first Ivy League win last Saturday, beating Dartmouth 13-11. The streak rolled on in a Tuesday matchup against Stonehill College, which the Crimson won 13-6. Today, the Crimson defeated Cornell 13-12 in double overtime.

In 2020, the Harvard women's lacrosse team faces the Big Red in a close 9-8 loss at home. While the Crimson has an off-weekend this weekend, Harvard will pick up Ivy play against next Saturday, April 1 at Dartmouth.

After a difficult start to the season, the Crimson has hit pace with three wins in its past four games. The Crimson qualified for the 2022 Ivy League Tournament after wrapping up the regular season with two essential victories. It then suffered a 13-6 first round loss at the hands of the Princeton Tigers to end its season.

A Tale of Two Halves: Women's Lacrosse Uses Second Half Comeback to Beat Columbia, 14-8

After a rough past couple of games, the women’s lacrosse team got back on track over the weekend. The Crimson (5-6, 3-2 Ivy League) traveled to the Big Apple for a Saturday afternoon showdown with the Columbia Lions (2-10, 0-4 Ivy League). As Harvard left New York City, the team returned to Cambridge with an impressive 14-8 victory.
