After the First Half of the Spring Season, Harvard Women’s Tennis Sits at No. 60 in the Country
Close to the halfway mark of its 2022-23 season, Harvard’s women’s tennis team looks to continue improving. With a 6-5 start already, the Crimson is gearing up for its Ivy League season in April, undeterred by any previous setbacks, and dedicating itself to success.

Harvard Women's Tennis Wraps Up Fall Season With Strong Performances at Harvard Invitational
In its final competition of the fall season, Harvard’s women’s tennis team faced off against Boston College and Boston University at home for the Harvard Invitational. Throughout the short fall season, the Crimson saw action at the ITA Super Regionals, Brown Quad Invite, and Harvard Fall Classic, with overall positive results. The Harvard Invitational gave players a chance to compete in a dual-match format, the predominant format for the spring season.
Conference Win Streak Comes to Close After Princeton and Penn Defeats
The Harvard women’s tennis team entered the Cordish Family Pavilion and Lenz Tennis Center in Princeton, N.J. ready to fight, quickly securing the doubles point. Despite the team’s initial momentum, the No. 72 Crimson lost each singles match to No. 50 Princeton and finished the overall match 1-4.

Harvard played in the Crimson Halloween Invite from Oct. 29-31 in Cambridge, M.A. This past weekend, the men's and women's teams took on Columbia and Cornell.

“One thing that our team has really come a long way in this semester is with our confidence and belief in ourselves,” said first-year Holly Fischer. “So I think that even though we were down, everyone who was playing was fighting so hard and really leaving everything out on the court.”
Women's Tennis Wraps Up Non-Conference Play with Back-to-Back Victories
The No. 71 Crimson is heating up just in time for Ivy League action after it closed out non-conference play with two home wins over the weekend with a close 4-3 victory over the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a dominant 7-0 performance over Hofstra University. Harvard has now won three straight matches and remains a perfect 5-0 at home.

Women’s Tennis Suffers Back-to-Back Defeats in Illinois
Harvard fell in two tough matches in Evanston, Ill. over the weekend, with Northwestern delivering a swift 7-0 defeat, and Miami University edging out the Crimson 4-3. The matches bring Harvard’s overall record to 5-4.
Women's Tennis Duels Through Trio of Matches in Providence
This past weekend, Harvard competed in Providence for the Brown Quad, a three-day slugfest against Columbia, Boston College, and Brown on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, respectively.

Women's Tennis Competes at ITA Northeast Regionals, Sends Three Singles Players to Super Regionals
The Harvard women’s tennis team had a successful weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Northeast Regionals, with three players qualifying for the Northeast Super Regional tournament. The Crimson competed against players from regional schools and members of the Ivy League at the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Men’s and Women’s Tennis Capture Commanding Home Wins
On Super Bowl Sunday, the Harvard men’s and women’s tennis teams were far from focused on the primetime event later in the day. On their minds was the goal to rattle off more victories and keep the momentum going into later crucial matchups. And the focus paid off, as the Crimson teams dominated their competition in quick fashion.
Women’s Tennis Dominates at Harvard Invitational
The Crimson does not have another competitive match until next March, when it squares off against Rhode Island at home on March 7th. However, the team will look to keep working hard and avoid complacency during the offseason.
